Child Development Institute (CDI) in Toronto is seeking a dedicated Coordinator to join their Early Learning Centre (ELC) team. Responsibilities:
- Support the Director, ELC: Assist in staff recruitment, training, and policy implementation.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to regulations, licensing standards, and ethical codes.
- Create a Safe Environment: Foster a healthy, supportive space for children, staff, and families.
- Support Operations: Manage building issues, maintenance, and equipment safety.
Qualifications for this Early Childhood Education Jobs:
- Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education with a Management-Leadership certificate.
- Experience: Previous experience in early learning/childcare settings, either as an ECE or Coordinator.
- Pedagogical Knowledge: Understanding of early child development, CCEYA (2014), AQI, ELECT, and HDLH Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, with familiarity in Lillio (formerly HiMama) Child Care App and Dayforce.

- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Flexibility: Able to adapt, prioritize, and manage responsibilities effectively.
