Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director, ELC: Assist in staff recruitment, training, and policy implementation.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to regulations, licensing standards, and ethical codes.
  • Create a Safe Environment: Foster a healthy, supportive space for children, staff, and families.
  • Support Operations: Manage building issues, maintenance, and equipment safety.

Qualifications for this Early Childhood Education Jobs:

  • Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education with a Management-Leadership certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in early learning/childcare settings, either as an ECE or Coordinator.
  • Pedagogical Knowledge: Understanding of early child development, CCEYA (2014), AQI, ELECT, and HDLH Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, with familiarity in Lillio (formerly HiMama) Child Care App and Dayforce.
