Death of three Indian students:  India issues safety advisory for students in Canada

Due to the recent deaths of three Indian students in Canada the Government of India has issued a safety advisory warning for Indian students in Canada to be alert.

The recent hike in hate crimes as well as the decline in diplomatic relations between India and Canada has already made Indians in Canada on the edge for their safety.

It was during such a time the recent deaths of three Students stilt panic among the Indians living in Canada.

3 isolated and independent incidence which led to the death of 3 Indian students studying in Canada have given rise to a state of panic among Indians in Canada.

It was on the first of December 2024, a post graduate student from Punjab named Gurasis Singh who was stabbed to death by his roommate in Ontario. He was only in Canada for the past four months.

Another student named Rittika Rajput also from Punjab met death when a tree fell down on her while she was within outdoor bon fire camping with friends. The unfortunate student was dead on the spot.

Another shocking event that shook the Indians was the death of a 20 year old student who was working as a security guard for part time. He was shot and killed by a gang in Edmonton.

India has called for a thorough investigation and has urged the high commission and consulate of India in Canada to take serious actions. Currently they are working stringently with the Canadian local authorities to find the causes behind the incidents.
