Trans Rapid Cargo Inc., a Brampton-based transportation company with 14 years of experience, is seeking 2 dedicated truck drivers to join our team. (Truck Driver Jobs Canada)
Position Details:
- Location: Brampton, ON (Driving across Canada)
- Type: Full time, Permanent
- Compensation: $27.50 per hour
- Overtime: $41.25 per hour after 44 hours per week
- Vacation: 10 paid days or 4% vacation pay
- Job Protected Unpaid Leave: 10 days for emergencies
- MELT Training: Company advance available
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of truck driving experience
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a good record
- Proficient in English
- Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs
- Knowledge of Ontario highways and other provinces
- Familiar with GPS and electronic logbooks
- Understanding of truck driving rules and regulations

Responsibilities:
- Drive tractor-trailer, ensuring goods’ safe transport
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Record driving and freight information accurately
- Adhere to food load distribution guidelines
- Communicate with dispatch
- Ensure on-time deliveries and pick-ups
- Maintain load security
- Report discrepancies and delays promptly
- Perform fleet preventative maintenance
- Submit daily paperwork to the head office
